After living here in Germany for over a year (minus a little detour), I'm still trying to figure out how to handle myself during a German fest.
They close off all the roads in town and everyone just sits around and drinks beer and eats German food all day for 3 days. Even though I try and keep up, I just can't! Neither can Matt.
Just discovered your blog and am looking forward to learning what life in Germany is like as a military family! So far, it looks like it can be fun! :)
Ha! That's pretty interesting. No celebrations last that long here in the States. That could be pretty fun though. :)
