love notes!

I woke up to this from my husband and it was a good way to start the day off:

"have I told you today how beautiful and wonderful I think you are? No? Well...*spoiler* you are :)

You rock"

Yes, it's true, sometimes he can be really sweet.

So, I have 14 days until the end of the semester, and 15 days until I head back to Germany! YAY. I'm excited to get back there. Matt and I have lots of fun plans for each other and I can't wait to see how it all plays out. Also, when I get there, we are going on a shopping spree to IKEA!! This is awesome because we will finally have a dining room table. Yep, 4 years oh marriage and we still don't have the necessities. Crazy. I'm going to miss this lil chi'llens like CRAZY though... I present the niece and nephew:

Oh, and, in a month... Barcelona! I know Matt and I will have a blast because we are fun people!

study break.

I will be in Germany in less than a month.

I can't wait to see my best friend and and favorite person in the whole world! <3

I'm also looking forward to some German Pizza (the Italian food there is delicious), and schnitzel. A Hefeweizen is probably in order as well. Matt and I decided as soon as I get back we are going to get bikes and ride everywhere. I'm really excited about this, Germany has a lot of bike trails and I think it will be a good way to get/stay in shape.

la lala la la.

I thought I would post some pictures of my favorite two kids in the whole wide world. I will miss them when I leave, again. Sigh. Is it normal to feel completely excited and happy, yet sad about the same thing, at the same time? I'm pretty good at it.

Of course, overall I'm more excited about leaving than I am sad about it, but I'm big on family and probably overly sensitive, so no matter how ecstatic I will be the day at the airport leaving Texas, I will also be bawling knowing I'm leaving my family again. Eh, such is life. Soon the army days will be over! Until then, I'm going to try to enjoy Europe with the love of my life.

shop shop shopshopshop

I got to buy new clothes and sandals and a purse today! Birthdays are awesome. Birthday gift cards to your favorite store are even more awesome. I contemplated taking a picture of the clothing and posting it, but, I'm lazy, I don't care that much... and that's the end of that.

Today I told my husband (via facebook) that this blog should be OUR blog about life and living in Germany, you know, since I'm moving back there and all. I haven't heard back from him yet, but I'm sure he will be REALLY down for this. If not, he should make his own (Either way works, Matt!). He has already said no to the second option though.

I slept through class today, wtf?! I have no idea how that happened. I think it had something to do with me not falling asleep until 3 am. Okay, it had everything to do with that. But still, usually I'm okay with getting up and living life even with inadequate sleep. Not today though, not today. It probably also had something to do with Spring Break... the devil that it is.

My life is weird.

It looks like I'll be moving back to Germany soon (like month and a half)! I'm really excited and really nervous. My last experience with Germany made me a pretty depressed person. I mean, Europe is cool, but I realized I have a crazy love for America that Europe cannot fill.. and living there isn't exactly my cup of tea.. (ok ok I probably was acting like homesick baby a lot of the time, but my husband is also having trouble with it). My husband is stationed in Germany in the military, we moved there early 2010, and that December decided it would be better for me to move back to Austin and pursue school... Now it's March and my husband has decided he can't live without me (the feeling is mutual), and wants me back in Germany.

Also, I'm still pursuing school. Just online classes though Austin Community College. I just need Adobe CS5 Design Premium to have more than enough programs I need to complete the classes. I'm pretty excited about this.

I really want to go to Germany with a fresh new attitude and have a good time. I might never get this chance again, and I miss my husband SO much. I think this is a good decision.

(supporting deutschland for the world cup!)

Eis Cafe next to my house. It's an ice cream shop! German ice cream is REALLY good.
